Essential Skills Shining during a Critical Time

Our practice partners in New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Learning Initiative along with Motivis Learning, have been talking to teachers and system leaders about the lessons they are learning as they deal with the Coronavirus. Essential skills (aka Work Study Practices) are being put to the test as are student-centered learning, competency-based learning and teacher learning communities. The rapid uptake of technology to support learning is met as a challenge worthy of such committed educators. Hear what these on the ground folks have to say as part the Motivis podcast series Voices from the Field series. We highlight especially BEST teacher leaders Nicole Woulfe and Tony Doucet.

The committed educators have great things to say about how students are demonstrating self-direction, collaboration and creativity as key essential skills needed for a rapidly changing context.
